This Diwali, Yauatcha presents Souvenirs from Another World, a limited-edition festive patisserie collection that transforms indulgence into art. Created in collaboration with Boomranng Studio, led by the imaginative duo Sonal Vasave and Makarand Narkar, the collection brings together Yauatcha’s culinary mastery and Boomranng’s distinctive artistic vision.
Culinary Innovation Meets Cosmic Imagination
Inspired by the Cosmicpunk universe, the collection is imagined as a treasure trove of edible relics—celestial creations that embody light, unity, and imagination. Each piece fuses flavour with artistry, inviting guests to experience festive celebrations as a journey across galaxies.
The Petits Gâteaux de Shine’n capture this cosmic spirit in five radiant forms: the Coconut devil, where tropical coconut and dark chocolate create a wickedly indulgent harmony; the Hazelnut praline, layered with silky praline and crisp textures that sparkle like stardust; the Pistachio and rose, a fragrant union of nutty richness and delicate floral elegance; the Truffle basbousa bar, a futuristic reimagining of the Middle Eastern semolina cake elevated with earthy truffle; and the Honeycomb, a golden shard of sweetness that crackles like celestial fire.
Complementing these are the Stardust Macarons, where festive cheer takes flight through cosmic pairings—Blueberry with Earl Grey for a refined fruit-tea infusion, Raspberry with pepper for a playful spark, Blood orange for a bright eclipse-like zest, Hibiscus coconut for floral-tropical harmony, Spicy mango for a galactic nod to India’s beloved fruit, and Champagne for effervescent celebration.
