Space Inspired by Whitefield’s Forgotten Landscape
Long before Whitefield became the buzzing urban hub it is today, the region was defined by a network of lakes. Over time, as the waters receded and the city expanded, layered rock formations beneath the land began to surface; raw, textured, and shaped by nature itself.
Whitefield SOCIAL draws inspiration from this lesser-known past. The design language of the space reflects these natural rock formations, translating them into undulating forms, earthy textures, and warm tones that flow throughout the restaurant. The result is a setting that feels grounded yet contemporary; raw yet welcoming.
Located within the fast-paced environment of Phoenix Marketcity Mall Bengaluru, the space offers a moment of pause amid the rush of modern Whitefield. Fluid shapes, tactile materials, and thoughtfully layered design elements come together to create an environment that encourages people to slow down, connect, and unwind; staying true to SOCIAL’s philosophy of creating neighbourhood spaces inspired by the pincode.

The design for Whitefield SOCIAL has been conceptualised by FK’D Workshop, a multidisciplinary design studio founded by architect Faizan Khatri. Known for its hands-on approach, the studio blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design thinking to create functional and timeless spaces.
The Big Drop #Khaana & #Peena Menu
Alongside its refreshed design, Whitefield SOCIAL will also serve The Big Drop menu, SOCIAL’s most ambitious food and drinks update yet, inspired by evolving Indian tastes and everyday dining moments.
The all-day menu spans a wide range of categories including Breakfast, Snacks & Chaat, BOSS Burgers, Munchies, Substantials, Desserts, and Beverages, offering something for every time of day from early morning coffee meetings to late-night hangouts. New additions such as Ramen bowls, Breakfast Sandwiches, and Dunkables bring playful formats and bold flavours to the table, while cult favourites continue to remain part of the SOCIAL experience.
Guests can dive into comforting plates like Avocado Toast, Anda Kheema Ghotala, Kimchi Momo Ramen, Peanut Butter & Smoke Chilli Ramen, Toast-E-Galawati, Nihari Prashant, and indulgent burgers like the Samosalicious Smash Burger and Paneer Bomba Burger. The menu balances familiar comfort with inventive twists, reflecting how India eats today.
Complementing the food is The Big Drop – Peena Edition, a drinks lineup that celebrates India’s vibrant drinking culture. The menu features playful cocktail formats, shareable pitchers, and SOCIAL’s beloved classics. From iconic serves like the Longest Long Island Ice Coffee (LLIIC) to nostalgic formats such as SOCIAL Emotions, Lifafa cocktails, and Candy Crush, and the newly launched Grenade the drinks menu is designed to match every mood from casual catch-ups to celebratory nights out.
