In a landmark moment for Ras Al Khaimah’s urban evolution, BNW Developments has joined forces with Radisson Hotel Group to unveil the first Radisson Blu Hotel and Radisson Blu Residences in the emirate’s emerging business hub, RAK Central. The high-profile launch, attended by over 8,000 industry leaders and stakeholders, signals a major leap forward for branded hospitality and integrated urban living in the northern emirate.
The event was more than a signing ceremony; it was a celebration of momentum. Following the official announcement, the crowd was treated to electrifying performances by UK band Blue and Bollywood duo Armaan Malik and Amaal Mallik, underscoring the energy and excitement surrounding the development.
A New Urban Core for Ras Al Khaimah
While Al Marjan Island continues to define RAK’s leisure and tourism identity, RAK Central is being positioned as the emirate’s dynamic work-and-play district. This master-planned community is designed to be a connected urban core where offices, residences, hospitality, and lifestyle converge. By planting its flag here, BNW Developments is making a strategic investment in what it sees as the next engine of the emirate’s economic and community growth.
The project itself is a dual-format offering. The Radisson Blu Hotel will feature 361 keys, complete with five food and beverage venues, a rooftop terrace and pool bar, meeting spaces, a spa, and a kids’ club, designed to cater to both business travellers and leisure visitors. Directly adjacent, the Radisson Blu Residences will offer 222 branded units, granting residents access to premium hotel-delivered services and the operational synergy of the wider development.
A Partnership Built on Shared Vision
Leadership from both organizations emphasized the strategic importance of the collaboration. Dr. (CA) Ankur Aggarwal, Chairman and Founder of BNW Developments, framed the project as a cornerstone of a larger vision, stating it is “conceived to deliver durable investor returns alongside a globally benchmarked living experience.”
Dr. Vivek Anand Oberoi, Managing Director and Co-Founder, added that the development is designed to “elevate both investor confidence and everyday lifestyle,” bringing international brand standards to a destination where living, working, and leisure seamlessly connect.
For Radisson Hotel Group, this entry into RAK Central represents a calculated move into a market with surging momentum. Elie Milky, Chief Development Officer for the Middle East, noted the shared belief in Ras Al Khaimah’s trajectory, emphasizing that the partnership brings a premium offering “rooted in strong operations, consistent service, and the quality people expect from the Radisson Blu brand.”
With a portfolio exceeding ten strategic projects in the emirate, BNW Developments continues to solidify its role as a key architect of Ras Al Khaimah’s destination-led growth. The Radisson Blu Hotel and Residences at RAK Central stands as the latest—and most significant—milestone in that journey.
